Post-Restoration Plans: Bringing the Historic McKeen Railcar Around the Country

Once the restoration of our historic railcar is complete, the real journey will begin. Our mission is not just to preserve this artifact but to share its history with communities nationwide, sharing the story of the evolution of Railroading at the Turn of the Century.

We are working to collect Formal Letters of Invitation from Museums and Tourist Lines to show we have a shared interest to operate across the country.

Hopefully you watched our video above on the matter.

All Letters should be sent to our Email, Admin@McKeenCar.com

We ask that the letter be prepared on official letterhead from your museum or organization. Please review the loading gauge information for our car to confirm compatibility, and feel free to use your own words to describe your interest in our project. If you have any questions regarding McKeen Cars that operated in your area, or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us at the email address above.
